Within Cleveland Police each district and service unit has a dedicated Diversity Advisor(s) who works with their respective Management Team and the Force Diversity Unit to develop equality and diversity performance across the organisation. The Advisors also act as a critical friend to management teams highlighting areas for improvement and emerging best practice.
On a day to day basis the Advisors act as a point of contact for their colleagues, providing support and guidance and as necessary signposting people to sources of specialist assistance.
