Officers convicted of drink driving offences

Officers who have been convicted of drink driving between 2006 and 2008

I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act to release information on the number of police officers who have been convicted for drink driving over the past THREE recorded years.

I would like a breakdown of;

a. How many police officers have been convicted for each year

Answer:-
2006 - 0
2007 - 1
2008 - 0

b. What punishment did they receive from their respective police force on their return to work?

Answer:-
2006 – N/A
2007 – 1 resigned prior to hearing
2008 – N/A
