“I would be interested to know how many Cleveland Officers, Authority members and other Police Service delegates attended and what was the cost to the Cleveland Police Budget and Cleveland Council Tax payers will be for travel, accommodation, fees, subsistence etc.
In addition, at what level is the decision taken for authorising attendance at this event and how many service operational hours are lost because of warranted officers attending.”
On Behalf of Cleveland Police 2 officers attended the 2010 ACPO Conference at a total cost of £1,636.53 including VAT. Mr Price as the Chief Constable made the decision authorising attendance and no operational hours were lost as a result.
