If you are visiting the UK then you may need to register with the police.
Visitors from this list of countries are required by law to register. Simply fill out the foreign national initial registration form and take it with the documents listed on the form to an arranged appointment with the Foreign Nationals Registrations Officer this may have been arranged by your student services advisors or can be arranged by E mail to ForeignNationalsRegistrationUnit@cleveland.pnn.police.uk (Please include a contact telephone number) or by telephone on 01642 301320.
If you registered with another police force before moving to Cleveland then fill out the foreign national transfer form and together with the documents listed on the form to an arranged appointment with the Foreign Nationals Registrations Officer. In all cases if your circumstances change then you must notify the police within seven days.
If you don’t register then you could be fined up to £5,000 or sentenced to six months in prison, which might affect your stay in the country.
