Equality Scheme Questionnaire

Cleveland Police is updating its Equality Scheme, which every Police force is required by law to publish. The scheme will outline the commitment that Cleveland Police will make to ensure it meets and exceeds the requirements of the Equality Duties to work towards eliminating unlawful discrimination and promote equality and good relations.

The scheme will outline the commitment that Cleveland Police will make to ensure it meets and exceeds the requirements of the Equality Duties to work towards eliminating unlawful discrimination and promote equality and good relations.

The Equality Scheme will help us to remove barriers to services and employment, and it will enable our efforts to be focused on delivering services that are appropriate and meet the needs of our communities. We would like to take this opportunity to invite you to share your views on our services.

When published, the Equality Scheme will be accompanied by a three-year action plan detailing how Cleveland Police intends to ensure that there is no discrimination and unfair treatment in the way we deliver our services, and that we improve accessibility for communities.

We currently consult with our customers and stakeholders in a variety of ways including open meetings, surveys and feedback from comments, compliments and complaints. This questionnaire provides an opportunity to extend customer and staff involvement in improving our services.

We would be grateful if you could take a few minutes to answer the following questions. All responses will be treated in the strictest confidence.

If you have any queries, please call 01642 303396 or email Communities&Partnerships@cleveland.pnn.police.uk
