Overturned Tanker, Greystones Road

The tanker shed wood chippings onto the road and one lane is currently blocked off. No one has been injured.

Traffic travelling towards Middlesbrough from Redcar to the A66, which will include traffic from the Steelworks and Dormanstown, will need to take a diversion route towards Kirkleatham Lane, then onto the A174. This will take them past the Wilton site to Greystones roundabout, which should take them past the scene of the accident.

Motorists heading from Middlesbrough to Eston or Grangetown should travel along Normanby Road and avoid the A1085.
