Police are appealing for witnesses to an incident in which a man was stabbed with an unknown implement and had his bag stolen in Middlesbrough.
The 32-year-old man was walking along the cycle track near to Sycamore Road when he was attacked by two men and stabbed in the back four times with an unknown implement at around 9.30pm on Sunday 25th November.
The men took a black and gold JD Sports bag from the victim, which contained various medication including Pregablin and Metazipine, and they made off towards the Saltersgill area. Police would strongly urge anyone who may have medication that is not prescribed to them not to consume it.
The victim attended James Cook University Hospital for treatment and was later released.
The two suspects are described as white males, one around 6ft tall, of slim build, aged in his early thirties and wearing a dark top and jeans. The second male is described as slightly smaller in height than the first male and wearing black Adidas bottoms.
