Police are appealing for a Good Samaritan to contact police with information he may have on an incident.
At around 19.40hrs on Saturday 15th December, a black Vauxhall Corsa travelling on Guisborough Road in Nunthorpe, collided with the Swan’s Corner roundabout
The vehicle caught fire, and a Good Samaritan, believed to be a taxi driver, stopped and rescued the male driver from the burning car.
Police would like to speak to this man, as it is believed that he may have information that would help with the inquiry into the incident.
A 30-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and has been bailed pending further enquiries.
