Minibus window shattered by flying object

Police are appealing for witnesses after a silver Mercedes Sprinter minibus window was damaged by what is believed to be an object thrown at it whilst it was travelling past the Cemetery on Hart Lane in Hartlepool.

The incident occurred at approximately 6.40pm on Tuesday 3rd November 2009 and it is believed the object was travelling from the direction of the cemetery.

The impact caused a small hole and shattered the whole window. At the time there was a passenger sitting in the seat by the window and the incident caused significant shock and distress.
