Assault in Aruba Nightclub, Redcar

The man, who is in his early 20s, was at Aruba around 1am on Friday 26th February when he was assaulted near the boxing machine in the downstairs area.

A large crowd gathered to watch the incident and police therefore know there are several potential witnesses.

The victim was taken to hospital and is still receiving medical treatment for his injuries.

The assailant is described as a white man of stocky build and around 5’8” tall.  He was balding and wearing a dark coloured t-shirt and lighter trousers.  He left the premises with another man immediately after the attack.
