Criminal Damage to Vehicles in Middlesbrough

Police are appealing for witnesses to a number of incidents of criminal damage to vehicles in the Middlesbrough area in the last few weeks.

Overnight between Friday 23rd July and Saturday 24th July and again overnight between Thursday 29th July and Friday 30th July, nineteen incidents occurred in the Coulby Newham, Marton and Nunthorpe areas.

In the first time period a total of seven vehicles were damaged in the Coulby Newham area of Middlesbrough, predominately on Longhirst and Woodvale. Windscreens were smashed with an unknown implement and tyres were let down at the valves.  
 
In the second time period twelve vehicles were damaged in the Marton, Nunthorpe and Marton West areas of Middlesbrough. The rear windscreens of being smashed with an unknown implement and tyres being cut / stabbed with an unknown implement.
 
It is suspected that the same person or people are responsible for the incidents.
