Witness Appeal to Arson Attack in Redcar

Officers attended the address at around 5.40am after a report of a house fire. The 81-year-old occupant of the house was still in the address and was brought out by the fire brigade. She was treated for smoke inhalation.

An 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life and is currently in police custody.
