Police in Hartlepool are seeking three people who are believed to have witnessed a collision between a lorry and a car on the afternoon of Thursday 8th July.
The Stan Robinson HGV was parked in Warren Road in the West View area of the town, and a red Vauxhall Corsa parked behind it. The driver of the Corsa then left the car to go into a shop, leaving his elderly mother in the car.
The driver of the lorry then reversed it into the Vauxhall Corsa. Shaken, the elderly lady attempted to get out of the car when the lorry reversed into her again, knocking her to the ground. The lady was treated at the University Hospital of North Tees for swelling and bruising to her leg.

They are a white woman in her 20s, with blonde curly hair, wearing a black coat and with a small child, a white man with red hair, wearing a B&Q workman pouch and a white man who was tall and skinny, also wearing a B&Q workman pouch.
The three witnesses are asked to contact PC Holly Angus of Hartlepool Police Office on 01642 302126.
