Collision After Youths Throw Objects at Car, Stockton

The incident occurred at around 6.40pm yesterday (Wednesday 1st September) on Port Clarence Road at the junction with Meadowdale Close in Stockton.

Youths, who were stood near to Meadowdale Close, threw objects (possibly stones) at the green Peugeot 206, which then collided with a lamp post as the driver attempted to avoid the objects. A 31-year-old male passenger, from the Billingham area, suffered a broken rib and was taken to the University Hospital of North Tees.
