Mounted Section

The Mounted Section has an important role to play in policing incidents of disorder and providing public safety

Police Horses

The work of this section includes:

  • Patrols of high crime areas
  • Policing of football matches for teams such as Middlesbrough FC and Hartlepool United FC 
  • Policing of events
  • Planned patrols town centres
