Records Deletion process

Individuals seeking the deletion of their biometric information and or the deletion of a non-court disposal or ‘event history’ from the Police National Computer must complete a formal application and state the grounds for having their records deleted. An electronic version of the application is available via the below link under the Records Deletion process tab.

The applicant must provide proof of identity and proof of their current address. They must also indicate on the application how they wish to be contacted i.e. by post, email or phone.

Applications will only be considered if they originate from the individual concerned, their legal representative, a member of Parliament or the parent or guardian of the applicant in cases where the individual is a vulnerable person or under 18 years of age.

There are no charges associated with this service (other than postage to ACRO)
