Project Griffin

Project Griffin is a Counter Terrorism presentation given free of charge within the Cleveland Police area.

Originating from the City of London Police, it can be tailored to specific areas of concern for organisations.

Project Griffin aims to work with people who are involved in some way with the safety and security of a building, business or area and to empower them to recognise and report suspicious activity and behaviour to the police.

Project Griffin also serves to help people think about their own local procedures and processes for dealing with certain types of incident during times of emergency.

The event will be presented by Cleveland Police Counter Terrorism Security Advisers covering topics such as the current threat level, hostile reconnaissance, recognising the components of an explosive device and person/vehicle borne devices helping to galvanise and motivate participants to want to work with the police.
