ASB - Kirkleatham and Newcommen

  • Anti social behaviour is being reported by residents and shop owners in the Roseberry Square shopping centre and in the residential area of the Meadows / Rosgill and Lingholme. There are reports of criminal damage, the riding of off road motorcycles and groups of youths drinking alcohol and intimidating residents.
  • The police are conducting anti social behaviour patrols at the key times and within the hotspot locations and therefore request that residents report incidents and provide any information of those believed responsible.
  • The police are working with partners to deliver a problem solving approach to the issues to ensure that there are lasting improvements. These include tenancy enforcement visits with housing providers, working with the local schools to educate young people of the impact of Anti social behaviour to residents, working with shops to improve security and ensuring that alcohol is not provided  to young people under age and using dispersal notices when appropriate.

Police Repeat Appeal Following Rape in Stockton

Officers investigating a report of rape which took place in the Daventry Avenue area of Stockton (close to the Sheraton Park estate) have been carrying out extensive enquiries in a bid to trace the person responsible.

Police Conduct Further Searches in a Bid to Trace Naheed Khan

Officers are conducting further searches today in an area of land at the rear of the Whitfield Buildings on Park Vale Road in Middlesbrough which could provide police with further information to help trace Naheed Khan, 43.
