Appeal Following Sexual Assault, Middlesbrough

Police are appealing for information after an incident in Middlesbrough in which a woman was sexually assaulted.

The 31-year-old woman was with her young son on Darras Walk in Pallister Park at around midday on Tuesday 10th June when she was approached by a male who made comments of a sexual nature to her before touching her buttocks.

After being challenged by the victim, the man walked away and turned onto Ormesby Road.

The suspect is described as a white male, aged in his late forties, around 5ft 7” tall and of medium build. He has balding but had unkempt brown and grey hair. He also appeared to have a disfigured right arm.

Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or anyone who may have information as to the identity of the suspect is asked to contact PC David Page from the Integrated Neighbourhood Team at Middlesbrough on the non-emergency 101 number or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
