Appeal For Witnesses Following A Collision With A Mercedes And A Pedestrian

Police are appealing for information after a Mercedes C220 and a pedestrian collided at the junction of Park Vale Road and Southfield Road in Middlesbrough.

The incident occurred on Monday 9th January at 5:45pm.

As a result of the collision the 73-year-old male pedestrian was taken to James Cook University Hospital with a broken leg and a fractured hip.

Any witnesses who may have seen the collision is asked to contact PC Joseph Myers from the Cleveland and Durham Specialist Operations Unit on the non-emergency number 101, quoting event number 004993.
