Appeal for Driver to Come Forward Following Collision In Middlesbrough

Police are appealing for the driver of a vehicle to come forward following a collision with a pedestrian on the central reservation area of ...

..... Marton Road (near to Cineworld) in Middlesbrough.

The incident occurred on Saturday 11th March at around 2:25pm when the dark coloured vehicle and the pedestrian collided.

As a result of the collision the 55-year-old male pedestrian was taken to James Cook University Hospital where he was treated for a fractured foot.

Following the incident, the driver who was initially traveling in the outside lane of Marton Road, stopped at the scene but left before police arrival.

Any witnesses who may have seen the collision or anyone with information regarding the identity of the driver is asked to contact PC Jason Coverdale from the Cleveland and Durham Specialist Operations Unit on the non-emergency number 101, quoting event number 041533.
