Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault in Middlesbrough.
The incident occurred at around 12:15pm on Saturday 14th December on the junction of Linthorpe Road and Parliament Road.
A 20-year-old man was assaulted by an unknown man and as a result suffered an injury to his left arm. He received treatment at James Cook University Hospital and has since been discharged.
Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident to contact PC Itsharm Ramzan on the non-emergency number 101, quoting the event number 212074. Crimestoppers can also be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online at www.crimestoppers-uk.org.
