Police are appealing for information after two women aged 29 and 64 were victim to two attempted robberies in the Parliament Road area of Middlesbrough.
Officers are connecting the incidents which occurred yesterday, Monday 2nd December between 9:50pm and 10:30pm when a man approached the victims and attempted to grab their shopping bags.
It is believed a third attempted robbery may have occurred in the same area and police are appealing for this victim to come forward as they may be able to assist with enquiries.
The man responsible is described as being a white male in his 50s and around 5 ft 6” tall and he was wearing a black beanie hat, black puffer jacket, dark trousers and boots.
Anyone with information regarding the incidents or the man responsible is asked to contact Cleveland Police’s Middlesbrough CID team on 101, quoting event number 205840.
