Police are appealing for information after a man died following an incident at a property on Smith Street in Stockton.
Officers were alerted by colleagues from University Hospital of North Tees to a man who had suffered serious injuries.
The man aged 42 was found injured outside of a property on Smith Street at 10:45pm on Friday 3rd April and sadly died in hospital in the early hours of this morning, Sunday 5th April.
Enquiries are ongoing to determine the circumstances of how the man suffered these injuries.
Police are appealing for anyone with information regarding the incident, or for any key workers or members of the public who were out for essential travel in this area and time to please come forward with information.
Our thoughts remain with the man’s family at this difficult time.
