Police are re appealing for private CCTV and dash cam footage following a reported incident on Brotton Road in Carlin How on Friday 21st August at 4:30pm.
Christopher Kay aged 58 sadly died as a result of the alleged incident.
Senior Investigating Officer, Detective Chief Inspector Mark Dimelow said: “Officers require the assistance of the public and are asking people to please check if they have any private CCTV or dash cam footage in the time and area of the alleged incident to contact police as they may be able to assist officers with the investigation.
“All information, no matter how insignificant you think it is, could be relevant to the investigation and we would urge anyone who has not come forward to please do so as a matter of urgency.”
A man aged 32 was charged with manslaughter in connection with the reported incident and will appear at Teesside Crown Court on Monday 21st September.
Two other males aged 31 and 35 were also arrested in connection with the alleged incident and have been released with bail conditions pending further enquiries.
Anyone with any information regarding the reported incident or anyone with private CCTV/ dashcam footage from the time/area of the incident is asked to contact Cleveland Police on 101 quoting 136570.
