Last night, Thursday 27th August, officers from the Stockton Neighbourhood team patrolled the Newtown area of Stockton.
A man was stopped and searched on Hamilton Road and suspected class A drugs were recovered from him. He was arrested on suspicion of drugs offences and refereed to the DIVERT project.
Later in the evening on Dundas Street, a vehicle was sighted reportedly driving in a dangerous manner. The driver was arrested on suspicion of driving whilst being disqualified, no insurance, driving without due care and attention and he remains in custody. His vehicle was also seized (as shown in the image).
