Police are appealing for information after a man aged 38 was assaulted whilst walking along Chipchase Road into Ayresome Park Road in Middlesbrough.
The incident occurred between 7:10pm and 7:20pm yesterday, Tuesday 9th June when a green coloured 4x4 type of vehicle pulled up next to the victim and three males got out of the car and assaulted the victim with weapons.
Two of the men were wearing balaclavas and a third male who had blonde hair threatened the victim with a knife.
The victim suffered minor injuries as a result of the incident.
Officers are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or anyone with private CCTV or dash cam footage to contact Cleveland Police on 101 quoting 092969.
