Man Arrested by Middlesbrough Response Officers Ten Minutes after a Reported Robbery – Did you see anything?

Police are appealing for information after a woman aged in her 70s was victim to a robbery whilst parked at the Viewley Centre in Hemlington, Middlesbrough.
The incident occurred yesterday, Tuesday 16th June at 11:50pm when a man reportedly approached the victim and stole her dark red handbag.
The handbag contained the victim’s purse, car keys, mobile phone and all of her essential items which she needs.
Ten minutes following the reported incident a man aged 30 was arrested in connection with it and he currently remains in police custody.
