Appeal for Witnesses Following Robbery in Stockton

Police are appealing for information following a robbery which occurred in Stockton on Monday 9th March.
It was reported that an unknown man and woman approached the 25-year-old victim on St Peter’s Road between 8-8:30pm. The victim spoke to the suspects before an altercation occurred in an alleyway behind St Cuthbert’s Road.
The pair threatened the man with a knife before assaulting him and taking a small amount of money from him.
The man and woman were reported to have fled towards Waverley Street. The woman is described as white, approximately 40-years-old and wearing grey bottoms and a black coat with the hood up. The man is described as white, around 35 to 40-years-old, stocky build and wearing dark bottoms and a blue puffer jacket.
Police are asking anyone who witnessed the incident, or has any private CCTV of the areas mentioned, is asked to contact DC Ryan Cairns on the non-emergency number 101, quoting the reference number 038742.
