Third Arrest Made in Connection with Serious Assault

A third man has been arrested in connection with a serious assault which took place at the Dickens Inn in Middlesbrough around 12:45am on Saturday 17th December.
Police received a report that four males were assaulted by a group of around six males, leaving one man with a deep cut to his lip and another suffered a fractured cheek bone and eye socket which required surgery.
Three men aged 32, 33 and 35 have now been arrested in connection with the incident and have been bailed whilst enquiries continue.
