Officers are appealing for witnesses and information following an incident at Hollybush service station in Thornaby earlier today, Saturday 12 October 2024.
The incident happened at around 5.30am, and upon arrival at the scene, officers found a man in his thirties with serious stab wounds. The victim has been taken to hospital by ambulance.
Officers remain at the scene and in the area while enquiries to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
Anyone who witnessed the incident and has not yet spoken to officers, is asked to contact Cleveland Police via 101 and pass on any information to the control room quoting reference number SE24195824.
