Shortly after 1am today (Tuesday 10th October) police received several reports of a male trying house and car doors in the Abbey Court, Ampleforth Avenue and surrounding areas of Greater Eston.
We’d ask anyone with doorbell, dashcam or CCTV footage to get in touch. Please also get in touch if you have information, by contacting us on 101 quoting ref 201843.
And officers are once again reminding householders to make sure doors and windows are locked, even if you’re in your property. As the days get shorter you could also consider using lights on timer switches to make your home look occupied if you’re out and about.
Always remove valuables from your vehicle when leaving it and make sure all the doors are locked.
