Activity to tackle nuisance bikes

Middlesbrough Neighbourhood Policing Team and Cleveland Police Specialist Operations Unit as part of Op Endurance worked at the weekend to tackle off-road bikes after numerous complaints from residents in Ayresome and Trimdon areas.
- 1 Male arrested for Dangerous driving, suspected drug driving, Driving otherwise in accordance with license and no insurance.
- 1 bike seized due to no insurance Acklam Road
- 1 off-road bike seized abandoned on Maldon Road
- 1 quad bike seized suspected stolen.
Operation Endurance is an ongoing operation to tackle anti-social behaviour and off-road bikes.
Police would like to remind the public that off-road bikes causing nuisance to residents will not be tolerated.
