Arrests Made During Violence Against Women and Girls Week of Action

Response officers covering the Stockton and Hartlepool areas made four arrests of men in connection with suspected violence offences last weekend.

On Saturday 1st April, a 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of rape and was bailed whilst enquiries continue.
A 31-year-old man was arrested and charged with stalking and criminal damage, to appear at Teesside Magistrates Court on Monday 3rd April.
On Sunday 2nd April, a 30-year-old man was bailed in connection with threats to cause damage.
A 38-year-old man was charged with burglary, assault and two counts of criminal damage. He appeared at Teesside Magistrates Court on Monday 3rd April.
