A woman has been arrested this morning after a drugs warrant was executed at an address on Parliament Road, Middlesbrough.
A quantity of prescription tablets, cash, phones and drugs paraphernalia were recovered from the property.
A 57-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class C drugs and she remains in police custody at this time. Sergeant John Sproson said: “Class C drugs, particularly Zopiclones and Pregablin, have a massive detrimental effect on our communities and can also be linked to many drug deaths.“Anyone with information regarding drugs activity is asked to contact us on 101, or report anonymously via Crimestoppers online at www.crimestoppers-uk.org or call 0800 555 111.”
