A woman has been arrested this morning after a drugs warrant was executed at an address on Parliament Road, Middlesbrough.
A quantity of prescription tablets, cash, phones and drugs paraphernalia were recovered from the property.
A 57-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class C drugs and she remains in police custody at this time.
Sergeant John Sproson said: “Class C drugs, particularly Zopiclones and Pregablin, have a massive detrimental effect on our communities and can also be linked to many drug deaths.
