Police are appealing for information after a bike was stolen in a robbery on Felby Avenue in Middlesbrough at around 1.15pm yesterday afternoon (Monday 21st August).
The victim was riding a black electric bike when two men, also riding bikes, approached him and tried to grab him. The victim managed to get away, before four men on foot grabbed him and pulled him off his bike before all six men punched and kicked him.
The suspects, described by the victim as white men, wearing black tracksuits, masks and balaclavas, then made off with his electric bike towards the 'black path'.
Anyone with information is asked to call Cleveland Police on 101, or call the charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
