Detectives are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information who they have not already spoken with to come forward in connection with an assault on two men.
The incident happened around 3:40pm on Friday 25th August on Stephenson Street, Thornaby, when a 33-year-old man and a 34-year-old man were assaulted with weapons. One man received treatment at hospital and was later released.
Four males aged 16, 19, 24 and 46 have been arrested in connection with the incident.
Officers would appeal to any witnesses or anyone they have not already spoken with to contact Stockton CID on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 170009.
