Police are appealing for information after a car was broken into on Whitby Crescent in Redcar at 5:45am on Tuesday 1st August.
Shortly after an attempted burglary occurred at a property on Canterbury Road in Redcar.
Two males were arrested in connection with the incidents and have been released on bail.
Officers are appealing to anyone with information regarding the incidents or anyone with private CCTV/ doorbell footage which shows the males to contact Cleveland Police on 101 quoting 151661.
