Four arrests have been made and three vehicles recovered following reports of 2-in-1 burglaries in Middlesbrough.
A 36-year-old man has been arrested and remains in police custody in connection with a burglary on Fox Howe, Coulby Newham, reported yesterday (Thursday 17th August). A white Mercedes CLA has been recovered.
A red Renault Megane and a black Ford Fiesta have been recovered after reports of burglaries on Westerdale Road on 24th July and Wilowbank in Coulby Newham on 13th August. An 18-year-old man has been arrested in connection with these incidents and he remains in police custody.
Following a report that a Volkswagen Golf was stolen from a property on Hall Drive in Acklam yesterday (17 August), a 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of burglary and an 18-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of obstructing police. Both remain in police custody at this time.
The stolen Volkswagen Golf remains outstanding at this time, as does a white Nissan Juke which police appealed to trace following a burglary in Fox Howe, Coulby Newham, on 17th August (pictured below).
