A 36-year-old man has been charged with two counts of taking without consent, burglary and driving offences after a 2-in-1 burglary was reported on Fox Howe, Coulby Newham, on Thursday 17th August.
One of the vehicles reported stolen, a Mercedes CLA, was recovered by police. A Nissan Juke remains outstanding.
The man was due to appear at Teesside Magistrates Court today, Saturday 19th August.
In relation to two other 2-in-1 burglaries reported on Westerdale Road and Willowbank in Coulby Newham, an 18-year-old man has been arrested and bailed whilst enquiries continue. Two vehicles, a Renault Megane and a Ford Fiesta, were recovered.
Following a report of a Volkswagen Golf stolen from a property on Hall Drive, Middlesbrough, on Thursday 17th August, a 20-year-old man has been arrested and bailed in connection with this. The VW Golf remains outstanding at this time.
