Man charged in connection with Stockton shop thefts

A 33-year-old man has been charged with four counts of theft and three counts of common assault following several reported shop thefts in the Stockton area between 29^th July and 11^th August.

He was remanded in custody to appear in court and was released on conditional bail until his next court appearance.
