A 24-year-old man from Hartlepool has been sentenced to 24 months in prison after a dwelling burglary at a property in the town.
The incident, on Leamington Parade on Friday 21st July, saw Rhys Parker force entry to a property in the early hours of the morning before causing damage and stealing several items which he was captured on CCTV carrying from the house.
He was sentenced at Teesside Crown Court today, Friday 25th August.
Detective Inspector Lou Sproson from Hartlepool CID said: “We are committed to tackling burglaries in the area. Burglary is an intrusive and personal crime which can be devastating for victims and we won’t leave any stone unturned in identifying those responsible and bringing them to justice.”
