Stockton residents are asked to remain vigilant after a recent spate of burglaries across the district.
Reports have been widespread across the district, however, there have been a high number of reports in the Billingham area.
A number of arrests have already been made and detectives continue to investigate all reported incidents.
High visibility patrols are also taking place.
Officers would remind residents to keep their doors and windows secure, even if they’re at home and remain vigilant, calling police to report any suspicious activity on 101.
