Following a report of a vehicle damaged on Shetland Avenue, Thornaby, around 1:05pm on Sunday 28th August, officers arrested two men and recovered suspected drugs and weapons.
Police received a report that a vehicle window was smashed with a weapon.
Officers stopped a vehicle reportedly linked to the incident and two men aged 37 and 40 were arrested.
Suspected class C drugs and weapons were also recovered from the vehicle.
Both men remain in police custody at this time.
