Detectives are appealing for information and any relevant CCTV footage following an incident in Stockton whereby a firearm was discharged.
Officers received a report that a firearm had been discharged at around 9.30pm on Thursday 28th December on Raleigh Road, Stockton.
No one was injured but damage was caused to a property.
Detectives believe this is a targeted incident with no current risks to the wider community.
High visibility patrols will continue in the area while officers continue to investigate the incident.
Detectives are urging anyone who may have seen or heard anything in relation to this incident to contact Cleveland Police on 101, quoting reference 253418.
