Class A and B drugs have been recovered in two drugs raids in Middlesbrough on Monday 4th December.
Officers from the Proactive Team, alongside colleagues from Middlesbrough Council, received information from concerned residents regarding suspected drug dealing on Pelham Street.
A 21-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs and a 22-year-old man were arrested on being concerned in the supply of class A drugs and both were bailed whilst enquiries continue.
Officers recovered suspected crack cocaine and cannabis, along with drugs paraphernalia.
A Neighbourhood Team warrant was also carried out on Seaton Street, after concerns were raised by the public.
Around £18,000 worth of cannabis and cash were found in the address, and two males were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class B drugs and possession of criminal property. Both were again bailed pending further enquiries.
Neighbourhood Team Sergeant Dani Gibson said: “Again we have acted upon information from the public regarding drug dealing and have taken suspected drugs off the streets. We would continue to encourage anyone with information regarding drugs activity to contact us, so that we can act upon it.”
Anyone with drugs activity is asked to contact Cleveland Police on 101, or contact Crimestoppers anonymously online at www.crimestoppers-uk.org or call 0800 555 111.
