A further 130 drivers were tested for alcohol or drugs last night (Weds 6 Dec) as part of an ongoing Christmas drink and drug driving initiative.
The tests were carried out on West View Road in Hartlepool and Cargo Fleet Lane in Middlesbrough.
We’re pleased to report that no drivers were found to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
The campaign continues throughout December and into January, as officers continue to urge people not to get behind the wheel whilst under the influence.
