Hartlepool man appears at court charged with criminal damage and attempted burglary.

A 36-year-old man who was arrested by neighbourhood officers investigating a report of a man acting suspiciously in the Owton Manor area of the town on Saturday, was later charged by CID colleagues with criminal damage and with attempted burglary.

He attended Teesside Magistrates’ Court on Monday morning and was remanded to prison until his next appearance in late January.
