Officers from the Proactive Team arrested a man after stopping a suspicious vehicle in Stockton.
Whilst on proactive patrols, officers pulled over a grey BMW 3 Series and searched both the occupants and the vehicle.
During the search, officers found a significant amount of cash, a quantity of Class B drugs, believed to be cannabis, and a friction lock baton.
The 26-year-old male driver was arrested on suspicion of drug driving, possession of an offensive weapon, possession of Class B drugs, acquiring/possessing criminal property, no licence and no insurance.
He has been bailed pending further enquiries.
