Officers arrested a 20-year-old man on suspicion of possession of a bladed article, after he was stopped by officers from the Proactive Team.
As the Proactive Team were carrying out routine patrols in areas of Middlesbrough, they stopped the man at 7:40pm on Parliament Road.
When officers searched him, the found a lock knife and he was arrested.
He appeared at Teesside Magistrates’ Court on Monday 4th December, where he was remanded to be sentenced on 22nd December.
